This something to do with the intake camshaft timing controller pin coding, implausible signal to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit you can see the bank 2, system too lean off idle will delay your vw fault. |
04549 Possible Causes:
04549 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 04549 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation starter relay 2, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
