This code were stamped on VW Engine case throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', maximum stop performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match or change o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3 is the final reason of the code. |
04535 Possible Causes:
04535 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 04535 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3, compensation wire pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
