Staring in engine exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit achievement too small retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit / open or change control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
04524 Possible Causes:
04524 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04524 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
