Diagnosing engine bar with 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit and turbocharger / supercharger boost pressure not detected - mechanical is the final reason of the code. |

04523 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 04523 Code
- Inspect all the connections mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
