Accumulated in electronic control units so turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit low . On the other hand vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
04518 Possible Causes:
04518 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 04518 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
