When you open exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start databus engine-engine, implausible message . So for next transmission solenoid power relay, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
04504 Possible Causes:
04504 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04504 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
