This code were stamped on VW Engine case hydraulic pressure sensor 2 adaptation at limit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start glow plug indictor light (k29), malfunction message from instrument cluster you can see the 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on will delay your vw fault. |
04502 Possible Causes:
04502 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04502 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
