The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more torque management request input signal b, low and fuel supply heater, control circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
04499 Possible Causes:
04499 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 04499 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 6 injector, data incompatible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
