When you open direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed data bus powertrain, missing message from control module level control and fuel injection valve 4 (n369), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
04499 Possible Causes:
04499 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 04499 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
