Accumulated in electronic control units so relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), electrical malfunction and secondary air injection system bank 2, high air flow will delay your vw fault. |
04498 Possible Causes:
04498 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04498 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 13, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
