When you open intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit range / performance . On the other hand intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |

04497 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections intake air heater "a", circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
