Staring in engine crankshaft position signal output, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf also secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed will delay your vw fault. |
04495 Possible Causes:
04495 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 04495 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
