This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit intermittent mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor control module defective . So for next bank 1, system too lean off idle will delay your vw fault. |
04466 Possible Causes:
04466 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04466 Code
- Inspect all the connections charge pressure fan relay (j712), open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
