The problem is about ignition coil 'i' secondary circuit, malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow . On the other hand data-bus powertrain, missing message from fuel injection pump is the final reason of the code. |
04463 Possible Causes:
04463 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 04463 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
