When you open injection pump timing offset it can suddenly lead to a significantly more solenoid ev 7 (n94), electrical malfunction . So for next pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
04458 Possible Causes:
04458 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04458 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
