Staring in engine throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low or pre-catalyst exhaust bank 4 effect too small will delay your vw fault. |
04454 Possible Causes:
04454 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 04454 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator valve (n331), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
