04451 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing clutch temperature, control the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too largely and 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
04451 Possible Causes:
04451 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 04451 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
