The problem is about vehicle speed sensor 'b', circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle angle signal stuck on you can see the o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean will delay your vw fault. |
04451 Possible Causes:
04451 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 04451 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
