Staring in engine pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system actuator supply voltage "b", circuit /open and wait then please check coding of ecus in data bus powertrain will delay your vw fault. |
04448 Possible Causes:
04448 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 04448 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'k' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
