The problem is about transmission coolant circuit relay, short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor kick down switch malfunction . On the other hand interference in mechatronic module is the final reason of the code. |
04446 Possible Causes:
04446 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 04446 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
