Diameter in engine vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit range / performance also intake manifold runner control, default not reached is the final reason of the code. |
04438 Possible Causes:
04438 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 04438 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
