04430 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine reductant injection air pump control, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197) and ignition switch run position, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
04430 Possible Causes:
04430 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 04430 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
