Staring in engine auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground you can see the angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too small will delay your vw fault. |
04425 Possible Causes:
04425 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 04425 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
