04423 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), range / performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent or secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
04423 Possible Causes:
04423 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04423 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
