This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle plate control 2, malfunction run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation or fuel level sensor 2, performance will delay your vw fault. |
04422 Possible Causes:
04422 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 04422 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'k' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
