04409 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to ground you can see the signal 'door up' not recognized is the final reason of the code. |
04409 Possible Causes:
04409 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 04409 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
