When you open exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, lean control limit exceeded retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean and wait then a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
04408 Possible Causes:
04408 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04408 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
