04406 Description And Summary : |

When you open please check dtc memory of transmission ecu It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 or change throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
04406 Possible Causes:
04406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 04406 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
