Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust bank 3, probe 2 no activity retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold runner control, lower stop not reached or change linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
04404 Possible Causes:
04404 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04404 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
