04404 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so control unit programming, programming not finished mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2 and wait then valve for pump - jet: cylinder 10 (n306), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
04404 Possible Causes:
04404 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 04404 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "b", low flow / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
