Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system pre-catalyst exhaust bank 4 effect too small also hc adsorption catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 1 will delay your vw fault. |
04400 Possible Causes:
04400 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 04400 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
