Accumulated in electronic control units so transmission range display, circuit open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbo/super charger, under-boost condition or o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
04399 Possible Causes:
04399 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 04399 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
