When you open hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground . On the other hand secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
04396 Possible Causes:
04396 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 04396 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine speed input, circuit error message from engine contr.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
