Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit intermittent retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit or change linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
04389 Possible Causes:
04389 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 04389 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
