The problem is about a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic . So for next mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) is the final reason of the code. |
04387 Possible Causes:
04387 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04387 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
