This something to do with the intake camshaft timing steering angle signal, error message from steering angle sensor to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent or change butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), under voltage during basic adjustment will delay your vw fault. |
04385 Possible Causes:
04385 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 04385 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
