The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault system too rich at higher load, bank 2 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel pump, mechanical malfunction . On the other hand evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
04384 Possible Causes:
04384 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 04384 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
