When you open shift up/down wire, short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open you can see the 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
04382 Possible Causes:
04382 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 04382 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
