Staring in engine coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor control module defective you can see the secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
04380 Possible Causes:
04380 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 04380 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module defective
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
