This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more brake pressure switch (f270), implausible signal or change fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
04380 Possible Causes:
04380 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections cylinder 10 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
