Staring in engine throttle/pedal position sensor a, circuit error message from engine controller causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for fuel bypass (n312), short-circuit after pluses and wait then evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit low voltage is the final reason of the code. |

04378 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04378 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
