This something to do with the intake camshaft timing motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), electrical malfunction you can see the minimum throttle position, not learned is the final reason of the code. |
04374 Possible Causes:
04374 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 04374 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
