The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault injector control pressure regulator, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open and wait then please check dtc memory of clutch ecu is the final reason of the code. |
04373 Possible Causes:
04373 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04373 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message from combi instrument
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
