Staring in engine power supply (b+) terminal 15, low voltage retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance . So for next transmission range display, circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
04354 Possible Causes:
04354 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses

What To Check After Fixing 04354 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan 2 (v177), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
