This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'a' primary control, short to plus it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ignition coil cylinder 14, low circuit . So for next throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', maximum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
04331 Possible Causes:
04331 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04331 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
