Diagnosing engine bar with intake flap motor 2 (v275), faulty causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) short to b+ also air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf is the final reason of the code. |
04318 Possible Causes:
04318 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 04318 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
