04309 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing motor for intake manifold flap (v157), malfunction run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open you can see the turbocharger / supercharger boost pressure not detected - mechanical is the final reason of the code. |
04309 Possible Causes:
04309 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 04309 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
