The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit / open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground . 043 Possible Causes:
043 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 043 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
