This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance or change accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal will delay your vw fault. |
04292 Possible Causes:
04292 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 04292 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
