This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit . On the other hand power supply (b+) terminal 15, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |

- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04289 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger, under-boost condition
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
