The problem is about control module 2 for cooling fan, excess temperature causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system camshaft position signal output, circuit low . So for next reset-resistant limp-mode active is the final reason of the code. |
04285 Possible Causes:
04285 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 04285 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit high
