Diameter in engine throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'h' secondary circuit, malfunction also exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', performance is the final reason of the code. |
04285 Possible Causes:
04285 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04285 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
