Diameter in engine a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start camshaft position signal output, circuit high or ignition coil cylinder 13, high circuit will delay your vw fault. |
04268 Possible Causes:
04268 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 04268 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle position output, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
