When you open control module 1 for cooling fan, short circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start starter does not run, mechanically blocked or mechanical malfunction or engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
04259 Possible Causes:
04259 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 04259 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
