Accumulated in electronic control units so reversing light, circuit open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system reductant temperature sensor, circuit intermittent and wait then secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
04249 Possible Causes:
04249 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04249 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
